Looking after your Lawn in the Spring

Lucy

Spring is an exciting time for gardeners, with everything starting to look a little greener and a little healthier. Your lawn will still need a bit of extra care after the log winter months though, so be careful not to rush things. Give your lawn everything it needs to make sure it is healthy throughout the spring and summer months.

You should be sure to clear your lawn of weeds and moss to make sure they don’t stunt its growth. This can easily be done with a good product bought from a garden centre. Once everything begins to die out, gently rake your lawn to remove the weeds.

You can mow your lawn in spring but do be careful. The first few times, you should probably be cautious and leave the grass longer than you normally would. Afterwards, make sure that you feed and water it thoroughly so that it continues to be green and healthy.
